Subject: Approve a Budget Transfer in Budget Unit 1671 from Object Code 18.00 Maintenance to Object Code 61.60, Buildings & Improvements for $92,310.00.
Executive Summary: (include fiscal and staffing impact narrative):
On March 24, 2020 your board authorized the Public Services Director to sign a purchase order for $92,310 with Dream Ride Elevator for the repair and modernization of the Lake County Courthouse Museum elevator. Sufficient funds for this project are allocated in the FY 19-20 Buildings & Grounds budget, budget unit 1671. Upon processing payment it was determined that the expense needs to be capitalized, meaning the funds should be allocated in capital asset object code 61.60, buildings and improvements, rather than object code 18.00, maintenance. This action requires Board of Supervisors approval.
