This agenda item has been prepared at the direction of Chairman Simon who has requested that your Board revisit your earlier discussion, held on May 19, 2020, to consider possible measures to assist local businesses and members of the public to comply with local Public Health Orders during the gradual reopening of Lake County during the continuing COVID-19 Public Health.

 

Specifically, Chair Simon requests that your Board consider an Urgency Ordinance Establishing

Temporary Compliance Officers to Assist Local Businesses and Members of the Public in the

Gradual Reopening of Lake County During the Continuing Public Health Emergency and to

Provide a Process for the Assessment of Administrative Fines for Violators of State and Local

Public Health Orders.
