Staff is recommending moving Final Recommended Budget Hearings up by one week, to be held on September 16, 2020 and September 17, 2020 (if needed), to be compliant with state statute.
Attached is a revised version of your Board’s Annual Meeting Calendar for 2020 illustrating the proposed change. In addition, the attached Revised Budget Procedures Calendar for Fiscal Year 2020-2021 illustrates the change to the Public Hearing noticing requirements and the change in the date your Board will receive draft budget documents in advance, on September 8, 2020, to enable you to prepare for Budget Hearings.
