Subject: Approve advanced step hiring of Stacey Schofield as Public Safety Dispatcher II, Step 4
Executive Summary: The Sheriff’s Department requests approval to hire Stacey Schofield as a Public Safety Dispatcher II, Step 4. Stacey was hired on December 14, 2015 as a Public Safety Dispatcher I and was promoted to Public Safety Dispatcher II on February 8, 2017. On April 20, 2019, she resigned her full time employment to accept a job as a Dispatcher at the Ukiah Police Department. She returned as a 900 hour Public Safety Dispatcher on September 19, 2019 while continuing to work as the Ukiah Police Department. Stacey has nearly five years of experience as a Dispatcher thus justifying the request for an advanced step hiring.
The position is allocated and funded in the Sheriff/Central Dispatch budget 2202.
