Subject: Adopt Resolution Approving Agreement No. 20-0080 with California Department of Food and Agriculture for compliance with the High Risk Pest Exclusion Program for period July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021 in the amount of $11,464.46
Executive Summary:
I would like to ask the Board to adopt the attached Resolution approving the agreement with the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) for the High Risk Pest Exclusion in Lake County from July 1, 2020 through the June 30, 2021. The new agreement amount is $11,464.46.
This is a state program that reimburses the Agricultural Commissioner's office for inspections plant shipment at distributions center like UPS, the Post Office, and truck shipments at local stores. This program is critical for Lake County agricultural because it prevents invasive pests and diseases from becoming established in the county.
Should the Board adopt this Resolution, please have the chair sign and return one (1) copy of the Agreement, one (one) copy of the Contractor Certification Clauses, one (1) copy of the Postconsumer-Content Certification (Cal Recycle 74), and one (1) copy of the Board Resolution and return them to the Department of Agriculture for processing. A signed completed copy will be returned for your records.
