Subject: (a) Waive the formal bidding process, pursuant to Lake County Code Section 38.2, as it is not in the public interest due to the unique nature of goods or services; and (b) Approve Agreement between the County of Lake and I.D.E.A. Consulting for Professional Consulting Services for FY 2020-21 for a contract maximum of $40,000.00 and authorize the Board Chair to sign the Agreement.
Executive Summary: Attached, for your approval, is the Agreement between the County of Lake and I.D.E.A. for Professional Consulting Services for Fiscal Year 2020-21. These services include but are not limited to consultation for insuring compliance with state and federal guidelines for the provision and documentation of services, assistance in implementation of State Mandated Performance Improvement Plans, and preparation for Triennial Audit activities including assistance in developing and implementing any identified corrective action plans or resolutions. As this is a unique professional consultation service, it is in the public's best interest to waive the formal bidding process.
