From: Scott De Leon, Water Resources Director

Subject: (Sitting as the Board of Directors for the Lake County Watershed Protection District) Approve the reimbursement agreements between the District and (a) the City of Lakeport and the (b) City of Clearlake to provide reimbursement for TMDL and storm water program services and to authorize the Chair of the board of Directors to sign the Agreements.

We request the Board of Directors sitting for the Lake County Watershed Protection District to approve and authorize the chair to sign the two attached Reimbursement Agreements between the District and (a) the City of Lakeport and separately, (b) the city of Clearlake. These reimbursement agreements allow Lake County storm water co-permittees, District, and the two cities, to cost-share an agreement between the District and storm water consultants EOA, Inc. to provide essential TMDL and storm water services that are needed to meet permit compliance and protect water quality in Lake County.

Attached for your approval, are both the reimbursement agreements, (a) Between the District and City of Lakeport in the total amount not to exceed $10,025.28 for TMDL and storm water compliance services, and (b) Between the District and City of Clearlake in the total amount not to exceed $28,078.00 for TMDL and storm water compliance services. The expected completion date of the agreement is March 31, 2022.

The reimbursement agreements coincide with the contract agreement between the District and EOA, Inc. that is also before the board for approval.
