Subject: Ratify Second Side Letter Agreement with County of Lake Deputy Sheriff’s Association Regarding Amendment to the 2019 MOU

As your Board is aware, your bargaining representatives are still negotiating with the Lake County Deputy Sheriff Association (LCDSA). LCDSA’s health benefit, in which the County pays 80% of the County-sponsored medical, dental and vision insurance plan, expires 12/31/20 unless additional action is taken. Bargaining representatives from both sides of the table have tentatively agreed to the attached Side Letter which would continue the health benefit, allowing time for completion of negotiations.
