Subject: Approve Letter of Support for Middletown Art Center’s 2021 Local Impact Grant Application and Authorize the Chair to Sign
Executive Summary: (include fiscal and staffing impact narrative):
As you will all be aware, Middletown Art Center (MAC) occupies a special place in our County’s recent cultural history, and has played in an important role in our response to and recovery from our numerous and compounding disaster events. This has recently been true again, as they have helped people safely connect during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
MAC will be applying for a California Arts Council Local Impact grant, and I respectfully request our Board support this effort, by authorizing the Chair to sign the attached Letter of Support.
