Subject: Approval to waive the 900 hour extra help limit for staff in the Sheriff's Department

Executive Summary: The Sheriff's Department requests approval to exceed the 900 hour extra help limit on the following employees:

Chris Macedo, Michal Moore, Douglas Pike are each assigned to Court Security and funding is reimbursed through the Trial Court Security Account.

Earlene Taylor is assigned to Administration and funding is reimbursed through the Inmate Welfare Trust Account.

Brenndon Bosse, Emil Devincenzi, Kevin Odom, Dennis Ostini and Lloyd Wells are assigned to the Marine Patrol Division. Funding is reimbursed through the Department of Boating and Waterways.

Each of these employees are PERS retirees and will not exceed 960 total hours in this fiscal year.

Von Morshed is assigned to Administration and her hours may exceed the 960 hour limit. She is not a PERS retiree and is not governed by the same rules that apply to PERS retirees.
