Subject: Approve revision to Resolution 2020-134, Sheriff/Coroner 2201 position allocation to add 1 Deputy Sheriff Sergeant due to a pending Industrial Disability Retirement
Executive Summary: Due to a vacancy caused by a pending Industrial Disability Retirement (IDR), the Lake County Sheriff's Department is requesting a revision to resolution # 2020-134 increasing the number of Deputy Sheriff Sergeants. Since the retirement is not yet effective and the employee is still receiving compensation, an additional allocation is necessary. The additional allocation will be temporary and will be deleted upon approval of the IDR. The Human Resources Department has prepared the revised resolution and is attached for your review and approval.
Any costs associated with this additional allocation will be absorbed through salary savings.
