During your Board’s April 16, 2021 Governance Workshop, Supervisor Pyska raised concern that
disaster prevention, preparedness and recovery is not specifically stated in your Board’s strategic
plan, “Vision 2028: Reimagining Lake County”, originally adopted on April 10, 2018 and later
amended on May 22, 2018.
The proposed update to Vision 2028, to include “disaster prevention, preparedness and
recovery”, under “Enhance Public Safety” is attached for the consideration of your Board.
