Subject: Approve Request to waive 900-hour limit for Extra-Help Field Worker Corey Hustead
Executive Summary: (include fiscal and staffing impact narrative):
The Water Resources Department is requesting the approval to exceed the 900 hour extra help limit for Corey Hustead, Field Worker III. His hours are not to exceed 960.
Corey has been working additional hours to provide extra support for the maintenance of our levee system that is inspected by the State of California. Corey has also been working additional hours for Lakebed Management, placing navigational aids on Clear Lake to ensure boater safety due to low lake levels. We feel it would be to the county’s benefit to extend Corey’s hours in order to continue his work on these items, in addition to help with other various projects.
