Subject: Approve waiver of the 900 hour limitation for Animal Control employee Collette Hall
Executive Summary: (include fiscal and staffing impact narrative):
Collette Hall offered her assistance of the increased workload due to the COVID-19 response. As a result, she is nearing the expiration of her allotted 900 hours. Due to some turnover during COVID-19, Collette is necessary to care for lost and homeless animals who come through the shelter each day. Allowing Collette to use hours beyond 900 will allow the department to maintain an adequate staffing level through the fiscal year while new hires are undergoing the hiring process.
