Subject: Request Approval for Agreement # 20-1108-000-SG with California Department of Food and Agriculture for Noxious Weed Program for the Period of May 1, 2021 through March 31, 2023 in the Amount of $32,000.00

Executive Summary:
I would like to ask the Board to adopt the attached resolution approving the agreement with the California Department of Food and Agriculture for work pertaining to control and eradication of noxious and invasive weeds from being established in California and which supports local and regional eradication of high priority noxious and invasive weeds as defined in the Food and Agricultural Code Section 7271, 7272 through 7272.5. In the amount of $32,000.00 for the period of May 1, 2021 through March 31, 2023.


Should the Board adopt this Resolution, please have the chair sign and return one copy of the Agreement, one copy of the Board Resolution and return them to the Agricultural Commissioner's office for processing. A signed completed copy will be returned for your records.
