Subject: Approve Contract between the County of Lake Health Services and Sheila McCarthy, for Occupational Therapy Services in Support of the California Children's Services Program (CCS) and the Medical Therapy Program (MTP) for a term starting July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022 and a maximum amount of $33,436.80; and Authorize the Board Chair to Sign

Executive Summary: Health Services, Public Health Division has been recruiting unsuccessfully to fill an open Occupational Therapist position to support their CCS and MTP programs.

As a result, Public Health has been contracting with Ms. McCarthy to provide occupational therapy in both programs for those children with serious medical care needs and disabilities.

Ms. McCarthy has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University and has been providing occupational therapy for the last forty-three years including work done specifically with CCS and pediatric patients.
