Subject:                     Adopt Resolution Authorizing the Special Districts Administrator to Sign the Notice of Completion for Work Performed under Agreement 19-18, Dated June 9, 2020, for the Construction of the Soda Bay CSA-20 Redwood Tank Replacement Project

 

Executive Summary: (include fiscal and staffing impact narrative):

 

On June 9, 2020 the Board approved an agreement with Storesund Construction Services, LLC in the amount of $625,084.45 for the replacement of two redwood tanks in the CSA-20 Soda Bay water district funded through the FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.  A single contract change order to account for unsuitable subgrade brought the total project cost to $655,139.54.

The project is complete and staff is requesting that the Board adopt the attached resolution authorizing the Special Districts Administrator to sign the Notice of Completion.

Recommended Action:  Staff is requesting the Board adopt the attached Resolution authorizing the Special Districts Administrator to sign the Notice of Completion for work performed under Agreement 19-18 dated June 9, 2020 for the Soda Bay CSA-20 Redwood Tank Replacement Project.
