Subject: Approve Request to waive 900-hour limit for Extra-Help Facilities Maintenance Worker
Executive Summary:
The Health Services Department is requesting approval to exceed the 900 hour extra help limit for Lawrence Platz, Facilities Maintenance Worker. His hours are not to exceed 960.
Lawrence has worked additional hours this fiscal year providing support for the Health Department’s COVID-19 Crisis response efforts, including traffic control at the COVID-19 vaccination clinics, and lab courier services for COVID-19 testing.
Health Services requests exceeding the 900 hour limit, so that Lawrence may continue his regular duties, including the increased sanitation needs of the Health Department due to COVID-19 Protocol through this fiscal year.
