Subject: Approve Contract between County of Lake and Lake County Office of Education for Differential Response Family WRAP Services
Executive Summary: (include fiscal and staffing impact narrative):
Pursuant to Proposition 64, the State of California has offered funding with a focus on opportunities supporting Youth Education, Prevention, Early Intervention and Treatment. Lake County successfully applied for funding pursuant to the Proposition 64 Public Health & Safety Grant, which included a $500,000 component to fund a Family WRAP program to be administered through the Lake County Office of Education (LCOE).
The Family WRAP Program will connect at-risk youths and families with the services necessary to succeed. This agreement will run from July 1, 2021 to September 30, 2023. County staff will work with LCOE to ensure proper reporting and reimbursement protocols are followed. The total cost of this agreement shall not exceed the $500,000 authorized by the grant.
The agreement is attached for your Board's consideration.
