Subject: Approve Amendment #2 of Inmate Telephone and Video Visitation Service Agreement with Inmate Calling Solutions, LLC and Authorize the Chairman to sign
Executive Summary: On November 7, 2017, Your Board approved the Inmate Telephone and Visitation Service Agreement with Inmate Calling Solutions, LLC. This Amendment #2 adjusts the inmate calling rates and fees schedule reducing the Minimum Annual Guarantee (MAG). Commissions from the inmate phone system are deposited into the Sheriff/Inmate Welfare Fund budget 2215. These funds are expended by the Sheriff primarily for the benefit, education and welfare of the inmates confined within the jail.
