Subject: (a) Consideration to Waive the formal bidding process, pursuant to Lake County Code Section 38.2, as it is not in the public interest due to the unique nature of goods or services; and (b) Consideration of Tenth Amendment to the Agreement between the County of Lake and Cerner Corporation for Anasazi Software and Support Services for Fiscal Years 2020-21 and 2021-22 for a sum of $95,000.00 and authorize the Board Chair to sign the Amendment.
Executive Summary: Attached, for your approval, is the Tenth Amendment to the Agreement between the
County of Lake and Cerner Corporation for Anasazi Software and Support Services for Fiscal Years 2020-21 and 2021-22 for a sum of $95,000.00. Lake County Behavioral Health (LCBH) contracted with Anasazi Software in 2006 for the Department's electronic health record and billing system software. This is an extension of an annual Agreement; therefore, moving to a different vendor would require extensive work to set-up a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, migrate all the current EHR information to the new system, train all staff in the utilization of the new system for clinical documentation and billing, and to interface with the state operating systems.
