On May 11, 2021, the Board of Supervisors passed Resolution No. 2021-55 Proclamation of Emergency Declaration for Drought Conditions. Resolution No. 2021-55 outlined reports of most recent conditions of the emergency be presented to the Board of Supervisors for determination whether emergency conditions continue to exist.
As we progress further into a dry year, representatives from the Lake County Water Resources Department, Office of Emergency Services, Environmental Health and the Lake County Drought Task Force, a workgroup organized by the California Department of Water Resources, will provide an update on the 2021 declared drought and its relationship with Clear Lake and its watershed.
