Executive Summary: (include fiscal and staffing impact narrative):

The Plans and Specifications for the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, Lake County Culvert Upgrades 3 Project are complete and a copy has been filed with the Clerk of the Board.

The construction estimate is approximately $363,388.00

The California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal EOS) provides funds to eligible projects through the FEMA Fire Management Assistance/Hazard Mitigation Grant Pilot Program. Therefore, this project is 75% funded for construction with Cal EOS funding, along with 25% local matching funds.

Staff recommends that the Board of Supervisors approve the Plans and Specifications and authorize the Public Works Director / Assistant Purchasing Agent to advertise for bids once authorization to proceed with construction phase is received from Cal EOS.
