Subject: Approve a budget transfer in Budget Unit 1671, Buildings & Grounds, to increase capital asset account 62-74 for the purchase of an enclosed cargo trailer
Executive Summary: (include fiscal and staffing impact narrative):
Public Services budgeted $7,000 in the 21/22 budget for the purchase of an enclosed cargo trailer to transport and store tools and materials for facilities maintenance work. Staff solicited quotes in accordance with the County purchasing code. All quotes exceeded the budgeted amount, consequently it is necessary to increase capital asset object code 62-74 in the amount of $3,000 to appropriate additional funds. Funds are proposed to be transferred from the facilities maintenance inventory account, 38-00.
