Subject: Adopt Resolution Approving County of Lake Health Services to Apply for Grant Funding in the Amount of $542,450, Through the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for Fiscal Years 21/22 through 26/27 And Authorize the Director of Health Services to Sign Said Application
Executive Summary:
Health Services is requesting Board approval to apply for multi-year funding in support of our Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) program.
This funding will be used to secure additional staffing support of disease investigation, (case and contact tracing) case management, and oversight. This funding will also support training of staff to become proficient in STD, and HIV disease investigation and partner notification processes. The funding will also support additional staffing to support the need for rapid emergency infectious disease response needs if needed.
