Subject: Approve to Waive the 900 Hour Limit for Certain Client Service Assistant Positions within the Department of Behavioral Health Services.
Executive Summary:
The Department of Behavioral Health Services requests authorization to waive the 900 hour limit for one (1) extra help Client Support Assistant; Frances Novak. Ms. Novak performs critical transportation services to clients entering and exiting acute and residential mental health treatment services out-of-County. Their wages are paid out of Budget Unit 4014, Mental Health. We have sufficient salary savings to cover this increase in cost. Their hours will not exceed 999.
