Subject: Approve Contract between County of Lake and Excellesoft Partners, LLC. for Nexus Registry Software, in the amount of $42,252, from March 15, 2022 to June 30, 2025, and authorize the Chair to sign.
Executive Summary:
The Nexus registry management software will replace the current In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Public Authority Registry system used by our Adult Services division. Social Services issued Request for Proposals (RFP) #21-17 in October of 2021. Three proposals were received and Excellesoft Partners, LLC was selected by the review panel. Public Authority uses this software to organize prescreened IHSS providers and matches them to recipients based on recipient needs and preferences. By developing systems that pinpoint and address specific workflow and operational issues, Excellesoft is being recognized as one of California's premier leaders in the development of solutions for IHSS Public Authorities. They currently provide the IHSS Public Authority software for 21 other California counties.
