Subject: Consideration of Award of Bid for the Middletown Multi-use Path Project; Bid No. 22-05, State Project No. ATPL-5914(102) to Argonaut Constructors, of Santa Rosa in the Amount of $1,117,449.60.
Executive Summary:
The Purchasing Department publicly opened bids for the subject project on Thursday, March 31, 2022. Five (5) bids were received and the apparent lowest responsible bidder was Argonaut Constructors, Inc., of Santa Rosa, California. Please refer to the attached bid tabulation.
The project is fully funded from the Active Transportation Program (ATP) and Public Works Road Funds. The scope of the project is the construction of a Class 1 multi-use path along State Route 29 from the intersection of Rancheria Road to the intersection of Central Park Road, in Middletown.

Recommended Action:
Staff recommends that the Board of Supervisors award the Contract for the Middletown Multi-use Path Project to Argonaut Constructors, Inc., in the amount of $1,117,449.60 (Base Bid, and Alternate Bid) and authorize the Chair to execute the Agreement and execute the attached Notice of Award.
