Subject: Approve Agreement Between County of Lake and Hardeep Singh, MD to Perform Mental Health Medical Director Responsibilities on Behalf of Lake County Behavioral Health Services in the Amount of $270,000.00 for Fiscal Years 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25 and Authorize the Board Chair to Sign.
Executive Summary:
Lake County Behavioral Health Services issued a Request for Proposals for Mental Health Medical Director services on March 21st which closed April 18th. We received one (1) proposal for these services. This proposal was selected, as it met the minimum qualifications of the RFP. LCBHS has enjoyed and benefitted from the services provided by Dr. Hardeep Singh since FY 2019-20. Dr. Singh brings a wealth of understanding of the requirements for a County Mental Health Plan and also provides oversight for our psychiatry services, as he is a board certified psychiatrist. Additionally, he provides substantial and impactful support around our LPS conserved clients and performs conservatorship evaluations when requested.
