Subject: Approve Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement Between County of Lake and the Lake County Office of Education for the Safe Schools Program Increasing the Contract Maximum to $300,000.00 for FY 2021-22 and Authorize the Board Chair to Sign.
Executive Summary:
Lake County Behavioral Health Services has grown the partnership with the Lake County Office of Education to provide more services to the most vulnerable children in our community attending the Clearlake Creativity School. Thus, the contract must be increased to accommodate this growth. These services are fully reimbursable by the Department of Health Care Services under Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT) funding, as all Specialty Mental Health Services under this contract are being provided to people under the age of 18 with Serious Emotional Disturbances.
