Subject: Approve Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Lakeport Calling For And Providing For And Giving Notice Of A Special Municipal Election To Be Held In The Proposed South Lakeport Annexation Area (Lafco File 2019-06), County Of Lake, State Of California, On The 8th Day Of November 2022, For The Purpose Of Seeking Confirmation From The Voters On The South Lakeport Annexation, Requesting Consolidation Of That Election With The State General Election, And Requesting Approval Of The Lake County Board Of Supervisors For Election Services To Be Provided By The Lake County Registrar Of Voters
Executive Summary:
This resolution respectfully request, pursuant to Election Code Section 10400 et seq, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Lake authorize consolidation of election services for the City of Lakeport for the State General Election on November 8, 2022 for the purpose of seeking confirmation from the voters on the South Lakeport Annexation, requesting consolidation of that election with the state general election, and requesting approval of the lake county board of supervisors for election services to be provided by the lake county registrar of voters
