Memorandum
Date: June 28, 2022
To: The Honorable Lake County Board of Supervisors
From: Mary Darby, Community Development Director
Subject: Consideration of Extending Accela Civic Platform Permitting Software and Supporting True Point Maintenance Services for Accela
Executive Summary:
Lake County moved to an Accela Civic Platform for permit tracking in 2016. In 2016, Accela provided the Community Development Department (Department) with 10 user licenses. In 2021, the Department upscaled to 23 user licenses. Currently, the Department has a need to upscale the Civic Platform Permitting Licenses to an additional 8 users due to the increase of staff members. This upscale would provide CDD with 31 user licenses.
In addition, CDD is requesting the approval for further support of True Point Solutions professional services in the amount of $18,600 for a total of 120 hours of support services.
Attached are the following support documents: 1) Original Accela contract; 2) True Point Solutions contract; and 3) the proposed contracts for approval of either a one-year, or three years of extended Accela Civic Platform Services.
