Subject: Approve Agreement Between County of Lake and Sunrise Special Services Foundation for Supportive Employment and Supportive Education Program Services for Fiscal Years 2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24, and 2024-25 in the Amount of $257,106.50 and Authorize the Board Chair to Sign.
Executive Summary:
Lake County Behavioral Health Services was awarded the Early Psychosis Intervention Plus (EPI+) Grant in 2020 through the Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission. The EPI+ Program requires a Supported Education and Employment component. LCBHS determined it was necessary to go out to bid for this service and a Request for Proposals was issued on March 8th that closed April 8th. Two proposals were received and Sunrise Special Services was the only bidder who attended the mandatory Applicant Conference. Sunrise Special Services’ proposal was selected due to the focus on equity and inclusion of the BIPOC community, as well as having the clearest outcomes and objectives. Sunrise Special Services will partner with LCBHS staff to provide a comprehensive EPI+ service delivery system.
