Subject: (a) Approve Grant Agreement between Lake County Animal Care and Control and Best Friends Animal Society in the amount of $10,000 and Authorize the Animal Care and Control Director to sign; (b) Adopt Resolution to Appropriate Unanticipated Revenue in Budget Unit 2811
Executive Summary:
Lake County Animal Care and Control has applied for and received approval of a $10,000 grant through Best Friends Animal Society for funding Community Cat surgeries and equipment for the humane care of feral cats. The grant is to assist Lake County Animal Care and Control in getting stray cats fixed and vaccinated in an effort to increase cat live release rates within the County.
