Subject: Approve Agreement Between County of Lake and Davis Guest Home for Adult Residential Support Services and Specialty Mental Health Services for Fiscal Years 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25 for $630,000.00 and Authorize the Board Chair to Sign.
Executive Summary:
Lake County Behavioral Health Services has contracted with Davis Guest Home for the placement of individuals on conservatorship and/or who meet criteria for placement in a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center since 2012. There are a limited number of facilities in our region who provide these services to Medi-Cal beneficiaries and it is critical we ensure the need is met. To this end, Lake County Behavioral Health Services issued a Request for Proposals on March 3 which closed March 31. Only one proposal was received (see BOS agenda 06/07, item 5.8). Despite a lack of proposal from Davis Guest Home, LCBHS continues to have a great need to maintain this placement setting for our beneficiaries. LCBHS has placed four (4) clients in Davis Guest Home since July 1, 2021.
