Subject: Approve Amendment Two to Agreement between the County of Lake and Quincy Engineering, Inc. for Engineering Services for Hill Road MP 7.75 Landslide Repair Project, in Lake County, CA in the amount not to exceed $125,000, for a revised total contract amount of $420,805.07 and authorize the chair to sign
Executive Summary:
On May 2, 2017, the Department of Public Works entered into an agreement with Quincy Engineering to provide preliminary and final design, right of way, bidding and construction assistance services for Hill Road MP 7.75 Landslide Repair Project.
Exhibit "C" of Amendment Two provides a detail sheet that clearly identifies each affected task, task budget augmentation, task budget reduction, and task budget re-allocation. Caltrans has concurred with this amendment and associated costs are eligible for reimbursement As a result of this amendment, the contract amount will be increased by a net amount of $125,000.
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Emergency Relief Funding Grant provides 100% of the funds required for this project.
