Executive Summary:

In August of 2021, The Board of Supervisors approved Resolution No. 2021-109, authorizing entering into a funding agreement with State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) for the Drought Resiliency Project, however, in order to streamline the drought relief funding process SWRCB has assigned the application to the State Department of Water Resources (DWR) and has now been renamed as the North Lakeport CSA #21 Water Supply Improvement Project.

The Department of Water Resources has issued a funding commitment letter for the upsizing and modification of existing infrastructure and installation of a new well to meet urgent drought needs.

Prior to entering into a funding agreement an authorizing resolution must be approved by the Board and submitted to the State Department of Water Resources.
