Subject: Consideration of Agreement Between County of Lake and Vista Pacifica Enterprises, Inc. for Adult Residential Support Services and Specialty Mental Health Services for Fiscal Year 2022-23 in the Amount of $130,000.00 and Authorize the Board Chair to Sign.
Executive Summary:
Lake County Behavioral Health Services issued a request for proposals for Adult Residential Treatment Services inclusive of Mental Health Rehabilitation Centers, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Special Treatment Programs, and Board and Care facilities. Vista Pacific did not submit a proposal, but LCBHS frequently places clients there and has a need to continue to contract with this provider to meet the mandates as the County Mental Health Plan.
Vista Pacific has multiple facilities throughout California including a 108 bed locked Institution for Mental Disease (IMD) facility licensed as a Skilled Nursing Program (SNF)/Special Treatment Program (STP) serving residents 18-70+ and a 49 bed secured SNF serving geropsych clients with behaviors and medical issues.
