Subject: Approve Amendment No. 1 to Physician Consultation Services Contract to Provide Public Health Services between the County of Lake and Dr. Gary Pace and Authorize Chair to Sign
Executive Summary: On June 28, 2022, your Board appointed and ratified the Physician Consultation Services contract with Dr. Gary Pace to ensure that the ongoing public health mandates for services were able to be provided until July 31, 2022.
While the County has opened this position for recruitment, the Public Health Officer position remains open. To assist the County, Dr. Pace has agreed to provide public health services until August 31, 2022.
Staff recommends approving Amendment No. 1 of Dr. Gary Pace's Physician Consultation Services Contract to continue providing public health services through August 31, 2022.
