Subject: Consideration of Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement Between County of Lake and North Valley Behavioral Health, LLC For Acute Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital Services and Professional Services Associated with Acute Inpatient Psychiatric Hospitalization in the amount of $750,000 for Fiscal Year 2023-24 and Authorize the Board Chair to Sign.
Executive Summary:
This amendment increases the contract maximum by $350,000 to cover placement for Lake County clients. Placement of clients at a North Valley facility is reserved for the most difficult to place clients. The executive team closely follows placement of individuals at this facility, due to the cost. However, for clients with complex needs and challenges North Valley offers a level of care that is much needed and unavailable virtually anywhere else.
