Subject: Approve the Supplemental Services Agreement Number 4 between the County of Lake and Armstrong Consultants for consulting services related to Lampson Airfield and authorize the Chair to sign the Agreement
Executive Summary:
On October 18th, 2022, your Board approved Supplemental Services Agreement (SSA) #2 with our airport consultant, Armstrong Consultants, to perform preliminary engineering services related to a potential Hangar Development Project at Lampson Field Airport. The consultant has been working diligently on the project and both of us inadvertently missed the expiration of that contract, which was one year from the date of approval or October 18, 2023. After conferring with County Counsel, we were advised to create a new Agreement that incorporated all of the work scope of the expired SSA, and specify an ”effective date” to ensure the Consultant’s eligibility for reimbursement is uninterrupted. A copy of the new Agreement is attached for your information.
