SUBJECT: Consideration of Contract Change Order No. 2 for Mockingbird Lane at Robinson Creek Bridge Replacement Project, Federal Project No. BRLO-5914(105); Bid No. 18-01

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Attached for the Board's review and approval is Contract Change Order (CCO) 2 for the subject project.

The County and Mr. Galvin agreed to the following conditions: 1.) Prior to demolition of the existing bridge the bridge replacement contractor will expose, cut and cap the existing waterline on both sides of the bridge. 2.) Mr. Galvin would be responsible to supply his own water for the duration of construction of the new bridge. 3) The County will hire a contractor to install, pressure test and disinfect the new waterline prior to placing the waterline back in service. 4.) The cost to install and test the new waterline will be paid for by the County.
Contract Change Order No. 2 addresses the costs associated with reconnecting an existing private (Scott Galvin) waterline. These items resulted in an increase of $8,912.50 to the current contract amou...
