EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: (a) (b) (c): The Sheriff's Office is requesting your Boards' approval to purchase seven - 2019 Police Pursuit vehicles. These vehicles will be marked patrol units and will be used in the enforcement division.
A request for sealed bids for a Ford Explorer SUV, Chevy Tahoe PPV and a Ford/Chevy to be used as unmarked vehicles was issued on October 28, 2018 and mailed to the following dealers:
Matt Mazzei, John L. Sullivan, Thurston Chevrolet, McConnell Chevrolet, Maita Chevrolet, Downtown Ford, Redwood Ford, Future Ford of Roseville, Future Ford of Sacramento, Hansel Ford and Sanderson Ford. It was also advertised on the Record Bee and posted on both the County and Sheriff's websites.
A spreadsheet is attached reflecting the pricing from each of the dealers that submitted bids.
