Subject: (a) Waive the formal bidding process, pursuant to Lake County Code Section 38.2, as it is not in the public interest due to the unique nature of goods or services; and (b) Approve Agreement between County of Lake and Bid4Assets, Inc. for the period of 3/10/2020 through 3/10/2025 for Tax Default Public Auction Services; and authorize the Chair to sign.

Executive Summary: (include fiscal and staffing impact narrative):
The Treasurer-Tax Collector requests authorization to use public auction services provided by Bid4assets, Inc. through March 10, 2025 in accordance with the attached Professional Services Agreement.

Auction expense is assigned to each individual parcel posted for sale and is included in minimum auction bid, said costs are recovered via auction proceeds or parcel redemption.

Tax Defaulted Land Sale #157 is scheduled for May 29, 2020-June 2, 2020.
