Subject:                     Consideration of Appointments to the Commercial Cannabis Ordinance Task Force

 

Executive Summary:

On June 7, 2022, the County of Lake Board of Supervisors approved an application form available to the public to be considered for a position in a Task Force to draft Article 73 of the Lake County Municipal Code Chapter 21 - the Zoning Ordinance. Article 73 will address the regulations and requirements for obtaining a conditional use permit for commercial cannabis activities. Completed applications are currently being received, and Community Development staff is requesting to review these application forms.

 

The Task Force includes:

(1)                     Lake County Cannabis Alliance

(2)                     Community Members (1) from NE/NW (1) from SE/SW

(1)                     Farm Bureau

(1)                     Agricultural Commissioner

(1)                     Cannabis Industry
